How do I submit my movies, TV shows, or music videos?
At the moment, music submissions are live. You can find the submission form at the bottom of the Music page.
Once your submission has been sent and approved by moderators, it will appear on the Music page and automatically enter the chart. The chart is updated weekly.
Movie submissions are still being worked on, as this section will function differently from music submissions. Please note that we do not accept XXX-rated Sims content. This is due to the wide range of viewers who may access our site.
Movies submitted to RSN will be reviewed before approval. We may allow content that includes gore, strong language, mild sexual content such as kissing or cuddling, and limited discriminatory or hateful content where it is clearly used for educational or storytelling purposes.
All movies will be given age ratings so members can choose the type of content they wish to view. If your submission is rejected, we will contact you and explain the reason why.
TV show submissions are also still in development. This is because TV shows will be set up differently from music and movies. Creators may be able to create their own pages, add episode names, organise seasons, and manage their production hub once approved by an admin.
In some cases, we may reach out to creators directly to ask if they would like to become part of the Real Sim Network roster.
I want to create Custom Content, animations, or mods for RSN. How can I help?
We are always looking for talented people to help us grow our productions.
If you create Custom Content, animations, or mods, we would love the opportunity to showcase certain creations within our productions where suitable. We are also happy for mods and CC to be released and showcased by individual creators.
To get involved, please visit our Contact page and get in touch with us.
What if I want my production to remain solely mine? Do I owe RSN money?
No. Your production remains completely yours.
Your work will still belong to you, your YouTube channel, and your original platforms. Everything will be linked back to the original creator. Real Sim Network simply acts as a promotional platform and hub where your episodes, movies, or videos can be showcased in one place.
Think of RSN as a Disney+ or Netflix-style hub for Sims-created content, making it easier for viewers and fans to find and watch the productions they love.
We will not ask you for money or anything in return. We understand how much time, effort, creativity, and love goes into making productions, and RSN was created to help showcase that work.
RSN may create its own productions and may earn a small income from them or from adverts on the site. Any income from the site will go towards hosting, domain costs, and keeping the platform running.
What is the Real Sim Network?
The Real Sim Network, also known as RSN, was created by users who love making TV shows, movies, and music videos using The Sims.
Over the years, The Sims community has had many production-style companies that showcased stories, series, films, and videos created by players. As the internet has grown, many of these productions have become harder to find or are no longer being viewed as much as they once were.
That is where RSN comes in. We create our own productions while also highlighting and promoting other creators’ work, including TV shows, movies, music videos, and more.
We are currently working on a new feature that will allow approved users to create and edit their own TV production hubs. These hubs will let creators showcase their episodes, upload banners and logos, add cast profiles, create episode pages, and keep their productions organised in one place.
RSN will also continue to create and showcase its own productions through the website.
